Specialist in Customer Service (East & North)
LOCATION OF THE POSITION: Oregun, Lagos

DUTIES OF THE POSITION

✓To accomplish the predetermined service and receivables goals, centralize the customer relationship for the Order to Cash process in Nigeria (orders, delivery, returns, escalated claims, and escalated overdues) and resolve any problems.
serving as the company's main point of contact alongside CD
✓Control the preventative customer care procedures.
✓Manage proactive communications (such as those regarding logistics, OOS, stock concerns, etc.)
✓Review and share details on their orders, deliveries, and invoice data status.
✓Coordinate master data requests from the customer and CD (such as new customer account creation, address changes, etc.).
✓For urgent delivery concerns, communicate with the logistics team or a third-party logistics provider.
Notify customers of any product or code changes
Concur with the customer on deliveries having a short shelf-life
✓Act if necessary. In the event of price disparities, take appropriate action (get in touch with CD, Customer, or Marketing).
✓Attend CD meetings and represent customer service and the client.
✓Track customer ordering patterns and make any required changes

JOB REQUIREMENTS;

-University Degree
-Proof of working experience as a logistics coordinator
-Record of successful logistics management
-Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
-Minimum experience of 2 years
-Proficient in standard logistics software
-Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
-Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects


KEY SKILLS:

Customer service experience is preferable, however not essential if a candidate can exhibit strong competencies
Strong IT skills are essential and ability to learn new systems quickly
Intermediate ability in Excel i.e., be able to perform and utilise Excel to its maximum to process and order large amounts of data efficiently and with integrity
Strong communication skills in both verbal and written.
Team player with good stakeholder management skills
Good analytical skills to be able to interpret complex information and come to rational findings.
Experience of SAP accounting package an advantage but not essential
